After surprising with their upbeat jazz-pop EP, The Whiskycats continue to impress and progress with their follow-up. There are few acts who could get away with sounding like Hue And Cry without being irritating; on 'Everybody's Falling Out' The Whiskycats prove to be one of them as the gutsy vocals and funk-fuelled rhythms certainly prove. 'Steady Freeloader' is more akin to Haircut One Hundred and its relaxed melody and Matthew Whittaker's warm vocals make this song the standout on another strong EP. Backed up by two more strong tracks, 'Image N All The People' adds value to The Whiskycats' already strong identity, which is always smart, clever and thoroughly likeable.
