VAST is essentialy a project by a certain Jon Crosby who has produced an extremely ambitious album in one so young (21 years of age). The album is not only VAST in name either, embodying the industrial, stadium rock sound not heard too often since Depeche Mode circa 'Songs Of Faith And Devotion'. The songs contains religious references via Gregorian chants and constant references to Jesus which give the whole concept a spritual feel. All in all, despite a shortage of new ideas towards the end of the album, Crosby's talent appears to be one to watch.
