Cling are experienced producer Gerald and African-born singer Susi. Together they make electronic music with enough twists to make their sound a little different from the crowd. The key is the contrast between Gerald's beats and gift for subtly sinister melody and Susi's pure, sweet vocals. Although the latter's contribution is a little too saccharine for 'Luna_C', this is otherwise cerebral, chill-out music. The impressive 'Slipping Away' bookends this EP in both original and remixed form but it's the faraway mystery evoked on 'Abandoned' and 'The Other Side' which reveal the duo at their peak. Overall, a successful amalgamation of world music and electronica.
