Originally released in 1982, the 'Lexicon Of
Love' has always been considered one of the better albums of the
New Romantic era. The singles were as dazzling as the suits which
they wore; the production as slick as the band members' nice hair.
'The Look Of Love' and 'Poison Arrow' in particular are timeless
classics which should remind people that this era was more than
just an image fad. Some of the album though is a bit too over-produced
and sounds dated; 'Many Happy Returns' being a major culprit.
